What could be more annoying than losing your game backups or having to reinstall Windows and therefore recover everything by hand. Fortunately, GameSave Manager does that for you.
Who has never lost their PC game backups? Formatted PC or corrupt backup? Hard drive at end of life or lost USB key? Soar the hours spent developing your game of Civilization VI or your umpteenth character in Skyri. Fortunately for you, you are not alone. Some programmers have therefore created software to save their PC game backups.
To start, download GameSave Manager and decompress the file. Double-click on the file gs_mngr_3 to launch the program. During installation, you can choose the French language if you do not speak the language of Shakespeare. Once the installation is complete, the software will launch automatically and scan your hard drives to find the installed games.
In the list above, the program will have detected games from different platforms: Steam , Twitch , Blizzard or Epic Games (we have not tested with Uplay or GOG).
Check the box at the top left to select all backups. You can, if you wish, select the games one by one or even unfold the tree to choose the backup or backups to save.
Then click on the Save button at the top right and choose the folder where to save the backup. The program will then compress the backups in a clean format (gsba).
All you have to do is save it to Google Drive, Dropbox or any other reliable storage medium you have.
Note, during a next launch, GameSave Manager will offer you to rescan your computer to find new games installed.
